As a fan of Wet products, I was very excited to try out the company’s latest, Wet Synergy. The lube is available in two forms: Wet Synergy and Wet Synergy + Cool Tingle. Both are water-based with added silicone to make its effects last longer. They’re hypoallergenic, PH-balanced and latex friendly. Both types of lubes come in attractive bottles available in two sizes. I chose the 1.9 oz blue metallic bottle of the Cool Tingle lube, which includes peppermint amongst its ingredients. The aromatic peppermint is noticeable immediately after opening the bottle. The push tab is similar to those on shampoo bottles allowed a steady flow of the gel to pour out and I needed only about a dime-size amount to feel its effects.

The peppermint definitely gave me a cooling sensation (more so than a tingling feeling) and it was nice, but from the feedback I got from my partner — he loved it! The fresh air circulating the room was enough to send tingling down his spine with the cooling sensation on his cock, he said, particularly during oral. The peppermint taste and cooling sensation in my mouth enabled me to take more of him in and I wanted to keep going longer. During vaginal sex, the cooling did feel nice but I did have to reapply a couple times. All in all, I think Wet has produced another awesome lube that I will continue to use.

Last week’s episode of “Tori and Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood,” on cable’s Oxygen Network, featured Tori Spelling gifting Wet lubes to a bridal party.

In the episode, Spelling took on the wedding planning duties for her friend Brandy’s wedding.

Wet Platinum, Wet Kiwi Strawberry Flavored Lubricant, Inttimo by Wet Aromatherapy Massage and Bath Oil and Inttimo by Forbidden Fruit shave cream were all included in the gift bags offered at the party.

The wedding souvenirs even caught the attention of Spelling’s husband, Dean, who asked if there would be any left over for him.

“Our products have always been a hit at bridal and bachelorette parties,” said Jennifer Martsolf, Trigg Laboratories vice president of marketing. “We are thrilled that Tori wanted to include Wet as a part of her friend’s special day.”

In a scene from MTV’s “The Real World: Washington, D.C.,” housemate Andrew declares he could live off Wet Kiwi Strawberry flavored lube and suggests a new use for the product — salad dressing.

It features Andrew in the kitchen performing a taste test by dripping the Wet product directly into his mouth in front of his roommates. He then suggests that housemate Callie use it in her salad as dressing.

“Wet did not supply them with the product. It was their pick,” Martsolf said. “We aren’t sure how our product got directly into the cast hands.”

She added that to her knowledge, the appearance on MTV is a first for Wet.

“The product is sweet and very tasty,” a Wet spokesperson said. “Each of Wet’s water-based formulas is clear, colorless, stain-free and sugar- free.”

However, the spokesperson added that while harmless if ingested, the company does not recommend its lube be consumed like a food product.

Wet Kiwi Strawberry is available in 1.5 oz and 3.5 oz sizes.

WET is a popular brand of lube. It has often been included in several of the vibes I have tried. I sort of expected the same ol’ lube repackaged with a new marketing scheme — but I was totally wrong. The packaging is attractive in black and gold and I appreciated that the instructions were easy to find — instructions for the male on one side of the box, female on the other, and they were color coded: red for her, black for him. Upon opening the box the same colors applied to the two tubes of lube. This was especially useful when we got down to action and weren’t really paying attention to labels.

Instructions called for the Pleasure Gel for Her to be applied five minutes before intercourse — the package didn’t say how much fun that would be! By incorporating it into foreplay we didn’t need a timer to know when we were ready to go. We rubbed the gel on each other and the gentle warming felt so good we took foreplay into overtime. As the gel’s effects last up to 20 minutes, once we got going we reapplied a couple times for a truly wild night of uninhibited passion.
