Sportsheets’ Sex In The Shower was featured in the latest issue of Esquire magazine as a solution for foolproof and bruise-proof — bath-time sex.

The company said its collection of handles, waterproof toys and other suction-cup sexcessories allows couples to enjoy each other in slippery situations.

Sportsheets President Tom Stewart responded to questions from an Esquire reader who asked about tips, tricks and advice for having sex in the shower without risk of injury.

Stewart suggested using Sex In the Shower handles that suction to any surface, as well as the shower step and foam knee pads to give the body a well-deserved cushion.

Sportsheets never lets me down. The company has such great products for couples that are looking for something in the bedroom besides toys. Sportsheets’ Sex in the Shower Vibrating Sponge was perfectly packaged. The packaging for the toy was just right for the size of the product. I was happy with the color and size of the sponge — on the outside, it wasn’t different than the ones you can buy from any store. The bullet vibrator was snuggly secured inside the body washing sponge material and the shiny silver toy was peeking out from inside the bundled fabric. It was exciting to investigate the inside and discover the small vibrator. There were no sharp edges or tiny plastic bits to surprise you with a poke or snag in the mesh material. Due to this, I feel the design was well thought out.

Although the vibrating mesh sponge was an awesome toy, it unfortunately died well before its time. It started its short battery life immediately when I removed the little tab separating the battery from the connection terminal. The length of the battery life is still unclear to me. The only other flaw was the on/off button for the vibrator. It wasn’t difficult to find. It was on the back of the toy. However it was an awkward button to push. The pros outweigh the cons because ultimately this hasn’t stopped us from enjoying its secondary function as a body washer.

My two lezzie friends-with-benefits tried out a new harness the other night and here’s what they thought:

DJ says: Taking this harness out of the package and into bed was a bit of a stiff experience. The harness leather was a bit too firm against my skin (I’m sure that with more use the leather will soften to my liking!) and made it hard to feel the placement of the dildo. The straps were durable but a little pinchy, but I was still able to be suave with my lady as I usually am! A mellow mess-around would likely be fine with this harness, but if you want to strap it on for a solid romp in the sheets, watch out for strap chafing. Watch out for clean up, getting the plush fabric on the backside of the harness and snap-on piece washed up is a challenge. It felt more novelty than fun-ction.
