A new survey reveals more women are having wilder sex and watching porn.
The survey, done by the English Netmums website, found three-quarters of women having less sex because of longer work hours, but when they do have sex, they’re much more adventurous when compared to last year’s survey, TheSun.co.uk reported.
The study shows 76 percent of women use porn, that’s a 10 percent rise from last year’s survey of women who admitted watching porn with their partners.
The most popular format is online porn, which is watched by 61 percent of couples.
Just one couple in 20 looks at magazines, while 18 percent watch porn DVD’s.
The survey of 4,200 women also revealed four in five women like to dress up and indulge in role play.
A French maid uniform is used by 42 percent of women, followed by nurses uniform, while 16 percent of couples like the policewoman uniform.
More than half of the women said they use sex toys in the bedroom to add excitement.
“Our survey shows they are taking control in the bedroom,” Netmums founder Siobhan Freegard said. “They know what to do to get their sex lives back on track and are not afraid to experiment and introduce new methods to spice things up.”
“During this age of multi-tasking, when we all wish there were 25 hours in a day, at least women are going after quality sex when they are having it,” Katy Zvolerin, Adam & Eve’s public relations director said. “That women are willing to experiment more and become more adventurous says a lot. We are finding that themed lingerie, costumes and toys are much more popular than in years past, and a great way to add fun in the bedroom.”
Last year’s survey showed more than half weren’t happy with their sex life, but this year more than 60 percent claimed to enjoy a fulfilling sex life.
Every month leading sex toy retailer Adam & Eve publishes a survey of 1,000 American adults about their sexual habits.
This month the question was “How Often Are YOU Having Sex?”
According to the latest results from Adam & Eve’s “Great American Sex Survey,” over one-third of the respondents (33%) said they are pounding once or twice a week! (Not bad!) The next largest group (22.7%) said they have sex only one to three times a month. (*yawn*)
4.8% of the adults surveyed said they enjoyed sex five to six times a week. Now that’s a busy schedule. The real freaks Around 3% said they get it on once or more than once a day. I endorse this! Sex should be a part of any well-balanced diet.
The third highest level of respondents (19%) reported they had sex three to four times a week.
The next highest group (17%) said they had sex “seldom” or “never.” Dang … I would reevaluate my priorities.
I prefer my toys to be simple and fun to play with. I’m not one for fancy tech gadgets with tons of different modes; I just want a no-muss, no-fuss erotic experience. Adam & Eve’s jelly-like dual dong accomplishes that.
One of the cool things about this toy was its two distinct sensations: one end features a tight ribbed shaft, and the other, a bubble ribbed shaft — which was tons of fun for anal play. The toy is about 8-inches in length with half of that going towards each of the two sensations.
The other cool thing about this toy was its flexibility. This allowed me to lie on my back and rest my hand against my pelvic bone so I could be comfortable while I diddled myself. Because the dong was waterproof, I took it into the shower with me for some bath-time fun. It got a little slippery, but the ridges provided a lot of pleasure while the water cascaded around me.
Be advised: because of its jelly-like composition, it might smell a little weird. Oh, and don’t forget to use plenty of lube!
Adam & Eve’s annual Winter Sale has begun.
“Lasting until Valentine’s Day, this winter sale is traditionally very successful for us,” said Chad Davis, director of marketing for Adam & Eve. “After the holidays, we find that American adults tend to enjoy some ‘down time’ alone, and Adam & Eve is happy to help make it all the more enjoyable.”
All items ranging from vibrators, DVDs and masturbators to lingerie and lubes are marked down up to 80 percent!

With the recent media storm surrounding pro golf star Tiger Woods’ infidelity, novelty manufacturer and retailer Adam & Eve
conducted a study asking more than 1,000 U.S. adults their opinion on swapping partners.
According to Adam & Eve’s latest “Great American Sex Survey,” 62 percent of the respondents said they’d never even thought about swapping partners.
Of the 38 percent of respondents who admitted they have thought about swapping partners, the majority (64 percent) said it was simply because they wanted to try something naughty or taboo.
The next largest group of respondents (27 percent) said they had thought about it because they were excited by the idea of being with someone new. Nearly the same amount —23.5 percent — said it was because they were physically attracted to another person.
Eight and a half percent of the respondents said they thought about swapping partners because they were bored with their current partner.
“It’s interesting to note the differentiation between actually swapping and thinking of swapping,” said Katy Zvolerin, Adam & Eve director of public relations. “Most people we surveyed said they’d never even thought about it, but American adults have an active imagination with all things sexual. For those considering swapping, Adam & Eve has numerous products available that might open up that channel of communication.”
Every month, Adam & Eve, in partnership with web survey software company Cvent Inc., release results from surveys determining the sexual practices of U.S. participants.
The Target of sex toy shops, Adam & Eve, just completed a small survey of 1,000 U.S. adults that asked each respondent to give his or her first sexual experience a rating of 1 to 10.
Surprisingly (not really), of the 82 respondents who rated their devirginizing as “amazing,” 90% were men. I’m assuming their first time didn’t involve having a penis enter a small opening that tends to tighten up when nervous…
Nearly 70% of all respondents rated their experiences between “all right” and “amazing,” but I wonder what the criteria was. Are we rating the experience based on how amazing it felt? Or how amazing the whole situation/experience was?
If your first time involved candles, a quaint bed and breakfast, and a devoted boyfriend — but didn’t result in much pleasure — would you still rate it “great” because you felt loved and stuff? What if you lost it in the backseat of a Trans Am with a moderately attractive busboy from Chili’s, but managed to have an orgasm? Would you rate that “amazing”?
I also wonder what regions of the country were surveyed. Did respondents from the south answer similarly to those living in, say, San Francisco (free love!) or Farmington, N.H.,where there’s nothing to do but have sex and loiter (not necessarily in that order)?
Regardless, the result of this survey do forecast a seemingly optimistic future regarding the way people go about doing the deed for the first time. The fact that such a large majority rated their experiences in a positive manner tells us that possibly an increase in sexual awareness and education (though not sure what school districts can take credit for that) attributes to the plethora of positive ratings.
If nothing else, Americans certainly appear to be more comfortable with themselves when it comes to nakedness and naughty bits. They wouldn’t have taken the time to fill out the survey otherwise!
